It's friday and I have a long weekend, I don't have as much time to devote to blogging as I had hoped when I first set this up. Either that or when I do have the time, I'm exhausted and can't make my brain work to think of a good blog. Today would fit the latter. Obama is as bad or worse than I expected. I have said before that I may have voted for Bush, but definitely was not a big supporter once the end of his 2nd term came around. Why? not for the normal bush hating reasons. I didn't like his democrat like spending and the fact that he stopped standing up for conservative principals, basically he must have used those to get us in his corner and discarded them once he didn't need them anymore. Obama is taking this country further and faster down a road that once enought people wake up and realize what's going on, we'll realize we don't want to go there. Hopefully it's not too late. He keeps breaking his campaign promises, which I know that some will always be left unfulfilled, but this seems more like blatant disregard for them. I'll get into details of what has been broken another time. He keeps spending like we don't have to suffer consequences. the problem is after spending, he says we are going to cut defecits... okay how does that work? Anyway that's where my mind is today.

I would love to know how this works, being in debt and close to bankruptcy, the way to get out of it obviously is to borrow more money and spend it like it's going out of style. Maybe that's the point, since both Russia and China are saying we should have a new world currency. At home, it just won't work that way, don't think my bank will just keep loading my account with money every time I empty it. dang!

good grief

Every single day I see or hear something that the new administration is doing. Yeah, let's spend a trillion here, a trillion there. Trillion is the new billion and wow this is certainly change. well more progression, cuz too much money was being spent the previous 8 years. This makes all that a drop in the bucket. I really am planning on getting into stride with my blogging, but today, I just decided to give a taste, just a bit of what's on my mind. next time If I am not so tired (I work overnight and am typing this on no sleep) I will get right into the heart of the matter. Okay, I am now equipped to post fairly regularly again. So soon you will see new posts.
I have plenty to say about how things are being mishandled in Washington. Our progression to Socialism. well, have a nice day preparing yourself for the amazing and mind blowing posts to come.

Unbelievable

Okay, yeah I can believe it.  1st the Republicans have not been behaving like Republicans, then we get the weakest candidate that we could.  I don't care if this ticks off my non conservative friends, but we allowed this to fail miserably so in turn we elect a socialist.  Yes by his own words he wants to redistribute wealth... sorry, but that is a major part of socialism.  Granted we have many of the socialist doctrines in practice already... Public schools, Public transportation and so forth.  The current economic downturn is not a failure of capitalism, It is a failure to allow capitalism to work.  Congress, mostly democrats. insisted that people who weren't credit worthy should be given loans that they could not afford. They forced it, charging racism if the banks refused.  This doesn't only mean the poor.  Those who weren't considered poor, simply bought more than they could afford too. There are other reasons, but I can tell you, printing new money for a wide range of bailouts is not going to work... (yeah, I'm against what the president I voted for twice is doing. Then he comes out and says, oh we can't stifle the free market system. WHAT?????, ) Problem is that the Dems are more than happy to continue to spend us into oblivion and then add Class envy (Covetousness) into the mix... Tax the rich. sounds good until you realize, gee the rich are those who CREATE JOBS!  If someone runs their own business and includes the figures into their personal tax filing... Cha Ching... suddenly they are rich.  I know someone who runs their own construction business.  Rich?  Not by most standards of people I know, but they already pay $16,000 in taxes, and are in fear of what Obama's plan will do... Don't get me wrong. I think all taxpayers are overburdened by the current tax structure... I say cut all taxes, but don't insult intelligence by saying 95% of American workers will receive a tax cut... That is B.S. why?  Because apx 40% of them already DON'T PAY TAXES... meaning to benefit from this, any refund that will come, will be a check to  pay them for things they didn't pay in the first place.   The Obama plan (at least during the election) was to take the "windfall" profits from oil companies and give everyone a $1000.00 in stimulus funds... Uh, please explain how taking money from a business so the customers can pay the business works... get real, Corporations do not pay taxes... Their customers pay them.. Meaning anything taken from them will be recouped in the price of the, product or service.  Since when do we have a Maximum wage in America?  Why does anyone get to decide, oh the profits your business made this year were just way too much... That's a windfall, so were gonna take it from you... Sounds like a nice soviet style of government thinking..

 

Obama was fairly elected and I will support him as my President. I wish him well and hope he succeeds, It would not benefit anyone for him to be a failure... That however will not be blind support... He is going to take an oath to defend the constitution, I'm just not sure he believes in that constitution all that much... He tends to say things that make me believe he believes in a so called "living" document. that changes with society... Uh no, It means what it means, if you want to change it, you MUST, Amend it, not use the courts to change its meaning at any whim, just to get your way.  If he doesn't defend the Constitution I will not sit quietly.   Just like when Bush and other elected officials from both parties, refuse to defend it by protecting our borders, by ridiculous bailouts etc.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting the same tactics sore losers on the left did with Bush, I'm not going to promote Impeachment, investigations (unless there is a real good reason)
